With social and economic disruption likely to bedevil nonprofits for the foreseeable future, there is a need for CEOs and Board Chairs to cultivate JEDI SPACE: an idea that embraces our best selves in the workplace by creating Just, Equitable, Diverse, and Inclusive environments, and that promotes a set of practices that are Supportive, Purposeful, Accountable, Collaborative, and Evaluative. Dr. Christopher Washington is a learning ecosystem designer, nonprofit board leader, and champion for the significant role of universities in workforce development. He serves as the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs for Franklin University, a private, nonprofit institution of higher education with its main campus in the United States.
